Engage, Equip, Catalyze

Disciple Making Movements (DMMs) are the heartbeat of Lifeway Global. We are called to prayerfully and compassionately engage unreached people, equip leaders, and catalyze Disciple Making Movements and Networks.

Our Focus

We go to those with little awareness of God’s love and make disciples who make disciples. We focus on socio-economic development, leadership development, church planting, and serving persecuted believers.

Socio-Economic Development

Jesus fed the hungry and healed the sick. Lifeway mirrors Jesus’ example through compassion initiatives. We demonstrate love for our neighbors as we care for physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. This includes things like humanitarian aid projects, medical clinics, agricultural training, and micro businesses that help break cycles of poverty.

Leadership Development

Jesus equipped ordinary, flawed people to be the first disciple makers of the early church movement. The Bible shows us how Jesus trained and developed His followers into leaders of the faith. Leaders are developed through training and mentoring. Our initiatives include regular training events, team formation, and on-going coaching and mentoring.

Church Planting

Jesus said, “I will build my church…” (Matthew 16:18). As we serve people and engage them with God’s Word, they encounter Jesus. When these disciples choose to follow Jesus, a church emerges. Men and women gather together for prayer, worship, fellowship, baptism, and accountability. Leaders emerge and receive training. Disciples are encouraged to make more disciples, and churches multiply.

Serving the Persecuted

Jesus was persecuted. He said, “if the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it has hated you.” (John 15:18). Lifeway works in regions where disciples encounter religious persecution on a regular basis. New believers might be disowned by their families and communities. Some are imprisoned or even killed for their faith. We care for these faithful believers and their families with financial, material, and spiritual support.
