Serve Compassionately
Jesus demonstrated practical love. Local Lifeway teams listen to people in their communities so they can discern the best ways to love their neighbors. Then practical love is compassionately expressed through activities like business startup training, community health service, and praying with people for their specific needs.
God uses acts of kindness to connect disciple makers with people who are spiritually seeking. Jesus talks about these “persons of peace” in Matthew 10 & Luke 10.
Get Involved
Serve/Partner
Lifeway offers several opportunities to serve on short-term strategic teams that partner in compassionate service.*
Medical
- Staff remote field clinics
Agriculture
- Assist/train local Lifeway leaders & community persons at Lifeway Demonstration Farms.
Economic Empowerment
- Teach or assist with week-long entrepreneurial courses.
- Provide micro-loans to support viable business plans.
